Patio Installation

A good patio, just like a good Outdoor Living space requires proper design and forethought in order for you to enjoy it for years to come. Much like an outdoor living space, a landscape, or even landscape lighting, a patio can be anything from simple to incredibly complex. Whether you want a square, 10’x10’ patio or a curvilinear 1,000+ square foot patio, proper design and consideration for your specific property takes precedence.

  • Designing a patio without a kitchen, fire pit, or any other features is much simpler than designing a full outdoor living space. Although it’s simpler we still put forth the same level of care and detail to ensure that it can be enjoyed for years and even decades after it’s installed. When designing your patio we take a multitude of factors into consideration including the topography of your property, where excess water will go, what will happen with downspout drainage, and how many people you plan on entertaining at one time. Once we have all of that information, we typically turn around patio designs in 5-7 days!

  • Once we agree on materials, design, and price we are ready to get machinery on site and break ground on your patio! Installation includes all of the excavation, installation of gravel base and bedding material, and of course installing whichever Techo-Bloc pavers or slabs you choose.

We exclusively use Techo-Bloc hardscape materials because we are Toledo’s only Techo Pro and we believe they offer the best variety and quality of hardscape products on the market. Once we have the pavers and/or slabs installed we will use Techniseal Polymeric sand to lock in the joints and prevent weeds from growing in your patio!

  • Once the patio installation is complete, you won’t have to think about maintenance much. Unless we use HD2+ technology from Techo-Bloc it is always a good idea to consider sealing your patio 6-12 months after installation. Sealing the patio can give it a glossy, matte, or natural look and can help protect your investment from stains and scuffs and can make it easier to clean . Besides sealing your patio, the only true maintenance it requires is to keep it free of leaves in the fall so it doesn’t become stained and other than that it’s pretty much set it and forget it!
